Often in conversations when the question is posed “what kind of music do you like?” people exclaim “everything but country!”. Occasionally after Panda shows people come up to us and say “i don’t like reggae but I love you guys”. Both statements always strike us as strange, but we welcome the conversation. Ditch the genre talk. In this world there is GOOD music and BAD music. We are trying to make the GOOD kind. Of course it’s all subjective, but we do our damnedest to try to make music that will make you feel great and amplify the goodness that is abundant in life. Country and Reggae music are both essentially folk music. The crossovers are endless. In this huge sea of sound there is a variety of GOOD and BAD offerings, as there is in any collection of works you could assign a value of quality to. This new record of ours is also folk music, and this time we are the folks behind it. We appreciate the power of acoustic instruments. They have greatly inspired us in so many different forms and expressions of music that we have been blessed to have around in our lives. We love all sorts of styles but we like to think it all falls under the category of GOOD music. We have many influences and part of the Panda is revealing those to you in our own form. Enjoy this music. Spread it and feed off of it. There is so much more to come. Thank you for letting us be ourselves. RESPECT

Happy New Year! Thank you all for an amazing 2011. Your energy is the only thing that keeps us moving forward and we are forever grateful. 2012 is going to be GIANT, we’ve got 2 new albums coming out and lots more!
We’re going to spark up 2012 with an Album Release Party on Friday, January 6 @ Water Street Music Hall in Rochester NY! Our new album COUNTRY will be available (3 weeks before it comes out anywhere else)! Tickets are $12. Pre-order Tickets and get the album for $4 here.
Doors open at 8 pm, music starts at 9. White Woods opens, followed at 10 pm by a brand new Panda Acoustic set! The climax of the evening occurs at 11 pm with an Electric Panda set during which we’ll play some covers of songs that inspire us, as well as raging our original tunes. It’s all about the energy, so tell all your people! Lets start this epic year out right, together forever making noise and getting real with all of our funky selves and families!

East Coast Tour is underway! We’re currently in FL hitting Orlando tonight, Ft Lauderdale tomorrow, and then a two-day run at Bear Creek Festival in Live Oak!
Our 6 week co-bill tour with The Green has been amazing so far! We’ll be traveling up the the coast during November, ending with a hometown throwdown Thanksgiving Eve in Rochester NY @ Water Street Music Hall!
We’ve just announced 2 NY shows in December: 12/9 Syracuse and 12/10 Buffalo!
